Introduction of a Services and Consumables Charge* for children taking up a funded place. This will be charged at 50p an hour and will be invoiced monthly.

*The government funding provides for high-quality, flexible early education and childcare. It does not cover the cost of consumable items or additional services which parents should expect to pay for. However, the services and consumables charge cannot be made compulsory for any parents taking up a publicly funded place for their child. We would hope that our families understand the need for a services and consumables charge and be happy to voluntarily pay this. Those receiving funding for 2 year olds are exempt.
